| About the Design - What Makes Corrigo Unique |
|
The Corrigo Ergonomic Chair is designed by experts in physiotherapy and ergonomics
with one thing in mind: to support your body correctly.
They know how the body works, and what causes you to suffer from back-related pain.
Every aspect of the Corrigo Chair's structure is created using their specialist knowledge
of the mechanics of the body.
The chair is designed so that it can be adjusted to fit you perfectly.
|
The Corrigo Chair - Backrest
Your spine should be supported in an upright position.
The narrow back of the Corrigo ergonomic chair encourages you to pull your shoulders back
and open up your chest when sitting.
The backrest is high enough to support your upper back,
and it can be adjusted up and down to give you optimal support.
The backrest is contoured to support your spine in a vertical position
while maintaining the natural curves of your back.
A vertical inflatable lumbar support in the bottom of the backrest
is designed to support your pelvis and lower back.

The Corrigo Chair - Arms
Your upper arms should be by your sides,
and your elbows should be bent at right angles to your body.
Your arms should be supported at the elbow
to prevent the weight of your arms causing strain on the back and shoulders.
The Corrigo Chair’s arms are positioned to the rear of the seat pan,
and can be adjusted to cater for the width of your body.
Keeping your elbows on the pads while working prevents you from hunching forwards.
The arms are small enough to enable the chair to be pulled close to the desk
– also encouraging you to sit upright.
The arm pads are wider at the front
so that you can pivot your elbows while still being supported.

The Corrigo Chair - Seat Pan
To spread the load of your weight when sitting,
your hips should be slightly higher than your knees, with your feet flat on the floor.
The Corrigo Chair’s seat pan has a tip and sliding mechanism
so that you can tilt it to the right angle.
The seat pan moves independently from the other structures in the chair,
so adjusting the tilt will not change the angle of the seat back.
The correct seat pan position is tilted forward 6 degrees,
with the seat depth adjusted to adequately support your entire thigh length.
N.B. Always ensure that your buttocks are positioned at the far back of the seat pan at all times.
With a choice of standard and slim seat pans,
the Corrigo Ergonomic Chair is suitable for almost anyone.
More importantly, we show you how to adjust the chair correctly
– something many other manufacturers do not do.

The Corrigo Chair - Extra Comforts
The Corrigo Ergonomic Chair is designed to be more comfortable than other office chairs,
with extra padding on the seat and an inflatable lumbar / pelvic support.
The extra padding in the seat is an anti-flatten foam arranged in a horseshoe shape
to give extra comfort to your buttocks and thighs.
The foam in the middle of the seat is lower to allow for ventilation.
Thanks to the chair's carefully structured contours,
you can have great posture and still feel comfortable and relaxed.

| How The Corrigo Chair Works |
|
For full postural support,
it is important that your Corrigo ergonomic chair is adapted to your individual requirements.
To correctly adjust the Corrigo Chair to fit your body shape, follow the advice below:
|
1. To Adjust The Seat Height
Stand to raise seat whilst pulling up the middle lever (to the right under the seat pan).
Sit on the seat and lift lever to lower.
|
2. To Adjust The Seat Depth
Pull front bar under seat pan up and simultaneously slide the seat forward
or push backwards to adjust to the depth required.
|
3. To Tilt The Seat
Pull the front lever on the right under the seat pan to adjust the tilt of your seat.
The seat pan tilts forwards by up to 6 degrees or backwards by at least 35 degrees.
|
|
4. To Adjust The Backrest Angle
Pull the back lever (to the right under the seat pan) up to adjust the angle of the backrest
in a forwards or backwards direction.
Push the lever down to lock the back angle to your chosen position.
|
5. To Adjust The Backrest Height
The adjustment works on a rachet mechanism.
To adjust, pull the back upwards through seven different preset heights to desired height.
To lower back down, lift the backrest all the way before it can be lowered to the base position,
where height adjustment can be started again.
|
6. To Adjust The Armpads Length-wise
The pads can be slid forwards and backwards to your preferred position
to ensure optimal elbow support.
|
7. To Adjust The Armpads For Height
The Arms work on a ratchet mechanism.
To adjust, pull the armpads upwards through seven different presets to the desired height.
To lower the arms, first lift them all the way up, then lower them to the base position
from where height adjustment can be started again.
|
8. Rotate The Armpads
Each Armpad can be rotated about the stem upon which it sits to fine tune its position
relative to your elbow's requirements.
|
9. Adjusting The Width of The Arms
The width of the Arms can be adjusted by twisting the knob
situated at the rear under the seat pan.
Turn the knob anti-clockwise to loosen it,
adjust the armrest width as required, and then tighten the knob by turning it clockwise.
|
10. Adjusting The Backrest Lumbar Support
The outward curve of the lower part of the backrest is inflated by squeezing the lumbar pump
until you achieve the desired support.
Press the release button above the pump to deflate.
Adjust the lumbar support according to your comfort requirements.
|
11. Adjusting The Backrest Recline Tension
Turn knob directly located under the front of the seat clockwise
to stiffen the ease with which the seat pan moves. Turn the knob anticlockwise to loosen.
The amount of tension required is dependant upon your individual body weight.
