The TT-580 GALAXY is a heavy-duty office chair designed for intensive use in control rooms and by call centre management. It is certified to the BS 5459 standard for 24-hour round-the-clock use. This standard also makes the chair suitable for long periods of use by persons weighing upto 150kg (23 stone). The moulded cushions of the seat and backrest offer maximum support and comfort to users all day long. The chair is available in four distinct sizes with the differences shown below. Multi-Lock Recline: The Knee-Tilt mechanism of the standard chair can lock the chair in any reclined position. Independent Recline: The 3-Lever mechanism of the Exec chair enables the seat and backrest to be tilted and locked independently. Back Support: Additional back support on the Exec chair is provided by a Lumbar Pump that allows you to inflate the backrest for additional comfort. Seat Slide: The Seat-Slide on the Exec chair allows the depth of the seat to be increased for taller users. CHAIR STABILITY Stability is provided by a large 5-star base with strong easy-roll castors and a gas-lift column. SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT Adjust the height of the seat with a single touch via the pneumatic gas-lift which also allows the chair to swivel smoothly. CHAIR RECLINE Recline the chair at a tension that is adjustable to suit your individual body weight. The chair can be left to rock you gently in 'free float', locked in any reclined position, or locked in the upright seated position. GUARANTEE: This chair is covered by the manufacturer's five year guarantee against structural faults in manufacture. The guarantee does not cover damage resulting from careless or incorrect use, general wear and tear or lack of proper maintenance. The upholstery fabric is also excluded unless it is specifically recommended by the manufacturer for severe wear. This guarantee is reduced to two years when the chair is in twenty four hour use.
