This is the Draughtsmans version of the SARA Mid-Back Computer Operator Chair. It is a cost-effective, EC compliant computer chair that has been tested and certified to the BS EN1335 standard. This standard shows the SARA Draughtsman's Chair to be suitable for upto 8 hours' use per day. In addition this chair is designed for use by persons weighing upto 150kg or 23 stone.
The SARA Draughtsman's Chair has a protective black shell beneath the seat and behind the backrest. The chair is custom-made for you in the UK, and can be upholstered in your choice from
a very wide
selection of
fabric and
leather colours.

ARMRESTS
Choose to have your drafters chair fitted with Black Loop Arms, Height-Adjustable Arms
or Fold-Away Height-Adjustable Arms. Or choose to have no Armrests at all.

BACKREST
The SARA Draughtsmans Chair is supplied with a
.
One lever on the mechanism controls the height-adjustment of the seat.
The second lever allows you to tilt the backrest forwards and
lock it upright or at any angle.
You can also slide the backrest up and down to achieve the most comfortable position,
and you can add an Inflatable Lumbar Support to vary the pressure on your lower back.

FOOTREST
The draughtsmans chair comes with a taller stem so that you can comfortably
sit at a tall table such as a draughtsman's table.
A footrest is provided along the stem to comfortably rest your feet
at the higher seated position.

GLIDES & CASTORS
It is recommeded to use glides with draughtsmans chairs in place of castors/wheels.
This is because moving the chair on castors is more difficult to control
from the higher seated position.
However, the option of nylon castors (for carpets)
and soft PU castors (for wood floors) are available.
